This policy explains what information Hirable collects when you use the website and the dashboard, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details such as your name and email address.
- Profile details such as your resume, skills, preferred roles and locations.
- Messages you write in the dashboard, including outreach drafts.
Information from connected services
- If you connect Gmail, we read only messages that look related to job applications so we can show their status on your board. We do not use this access to send email unless you ask us to.
- If you connect a code hosting profile, we read public project details to build your portfolio.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage and device data, such as pages visited and browser type, to keep the service working and improve it.
How we use information
- To run the product: match roles, track applications and build your portfolio.
- To process payments for paid plans through our payment provider.
- To respond to support requests and send service messages.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Hirable, such as hosting and payment processing, and only as needed to provide the service, or when the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can export or delete your data from settings, and we remove it from our systems within a reasonable period after deletion.
Security
We use encryption in transit and limit internal access to your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong sign in method.
Your choices
- Disconnect Gmail or other services at any time from settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it.
- Opt out of product emails using the link in each message.
